In 2003 the S4 was redesigned with a few new bloated body lines and Audi placed a 4.2 Liter V8 making 339 HP and 302 lb-ft of torque under the hood that would accelerate the four door from 0 to 60 MPH in under 5 seconds. In 2005 the S4 became a bit more curvaceous but retained the same power plant.
