Dodge Sprinter
The Sprinter may have the Dodge logo splattered on the exterior, but it started its life as a Mercedes Benz until 2003 when it received the Dodge name. Over the years, the Sprinter has increased in size, so much so that the largest version measures up to 24 feet and the Mega Roof version has seven feet of interior height. Since it was originally sold in Europe, the Sprinter still maintains the unibody construction. It also only seats up to 12 people versus the 15 found in other large vans and it can only tow 5,000 lbs as opposed to the 10,000 lbs capacity of the competition. The Sprinter is powered by a 3.0L turbodiesel V6 mated to a 5-speed automatic. This combination delivers 185 HP and 325 lb-ft of torque. |
