The Mahindra SsangYong is the first of the SsangYong’s to be built on a monocoque frame. The softroader is expected to be launched in India in 2012 with a 2-litre diesel engine. It will come in both 2WD and 4WD variants and will compete with the Chevrolet Captiva, Hyundai Santa Fe and the Honda CR-V
